Looking at a friend's mechanical disc brakes, the rear cable seems to be a lot longer than my caliper ones. Can he replace it with any mtb brake cable, or are there extra long ones needed?
In reply to Fredt: Funny, never thought about; but have just bought standard brake cables and had no problem fitting them on mech discs. So I guess they all have enough length.
