I need insurance for On Piste skiing in the USA - so the ehic and carte neige aren't an option.

Nothing specialist so I don't need Snowcard which is very expensive.

Can anyone recommend a cheap insurer that will have no hassle paying out in the event of rescue and medical bills?

While covering equipment and baggage with a low excess would be nice I don't want an expensive policy it's the rescue and medical bills that are important.

I'm a member of the ski club of GB and use their insurance. Covers off-piste too though, so unlikely to be cheap.

Any other recommendations out there? I looked at BMC insurance but it seems pricey for a week of on piste (£65).
