Hi ,

On monday me and a mate are hoping to get out on some rock. problem being its looking wet and rainy, so just wanted somebody to recommend some rock routes that are ok in the wet/damp conditions. Either lakes , lancashire , peaks .

happy leading upto E1 in good/dry,single pitch.
mate climbs upto Severe.

we havent done much multi pitch so not looking for anything to hard. But would like to do something more than single pitch. even part scramble upto say severe .

any ideas would be good , we dont want a long walk in really either.

thanks

Its about 90mins walk up 2 2000ft for the start but its got good postive holds even in the wet, can be polished but a good days climbing, remember to take head torches for the decent, u will need them.

I don't want to sound too pessimistic but with the forecast we've got I would not set out to do anything technical... torrential rain and 60-80mph winds, with gusts to 100mph. You can't stand up in a 100mph wind, so climbing VD is going to be impossible. Go for a walk, or better still stay inside.
