2 months ago I bought a pair of Merrell Continuum Gortex lined hiking boots to replace a similar pair which I have had for the last two years and which had had some hard use. These finally started to leak, but I felt that two years of dry feet had been good considering the hard use I had put them to.
Right from the start my new boots leaked, but I persevered thoroughly cleaning them after use and spraying them with Graingers gortex waterproofer. However they have continued to leak, and today I took them back to Milletts.
Not only did Milletts give me an immediate no quibble new replacement pair of the same boots, but also voluntarily gave me a refund of £10 to reflect that the new boots are reduced in a Sale.
That's what I call service and my opinion of Milletts has been enhanced by the friendly and helpful attitude of their staff and the no quibble exchange.
