I'm going to Norway next week and will be near the Stabbursdalen National Park. I'd like to do some walking and camping there but there is little information online. Does anyone here have any info on the area that they can share or know of any good resources?

Cheers

Bob

I doubt there is much info to be found: you will likely be able to get hold of this map locally http://www.stanfords.co.uk/Activities-and-Interests/Sports---Outdoor/Stabbu... which should be useful. I assume you are suitably equipped for camping in -20C and 20 hours of darkness! I would guess you might not get very far without skis or snowshoes...

I will have both skis and snowshoes and am happy camping at such temperatures. It is currently minus forty Centigrade in the area, colder when you factor in windchill.
