Please. Hoping to get out tomorrow, not sure where. Default is the Shee. Looks like a tradeoff: better snow at Cairngorm, but more chance it will be stormbound too. Thoughts??

West is best by some margin right now. I was at Glenmore Lodge most of the day today and the wind really scoured *some* slopes.

Both Glen Coe and Aonach Mòr offer much better conditions right now but wind might stop play.

As usual Winterhighland is much better than UKC for this sort of info.

I know, I'm looking there too. Thanks for your info.

The Winterhighland picture is this: go to Glen Shee and you'll get non-optimal snow. Go to Cairngorm or Aonach Mor, where the snow is brilliant, and you probably won't anything at all, because of the wind.

Glen shee today - classic scottish conds- fog ++, no viz high up, downhill poling in sections, lower slopes rubbish, bit of a gale blowing, patches of boiler plate, most of lifts not running. But .... not raining, reduced lift pass price [+poss to get 1/2 day am with extension if you so wish] vast amounts of snow in the back, glas maol ski anywhere if you can see. Don't take your best skis.
