Hi

Has anyone ever used the Salewa Repace boots for ice climbing ? as they are a semi rigid boots and I use grivel G12's what grade could you safely climb up to.

great boots- comfiest i've ever owned, but no, not really suitable for ice climbing. If using g12s i'd advise using the grivel flexi bars with them, and avoiding anything beyond grade 2 or 3 at a push!

Agreed they are a great boot have been wearing them for awhile now but never tried to use them on the ice yet, but if I can use them up to grade 3 at a push that will be fine for me getting back into it again.
