Alternative to Jack Wolfskin Startrack...

It may not be the best suited post for this forum, but considering your knowledge I am still hoping to get some good advice.
I used to own the above shoes (ones with a yellow paw on the sole), which were the most comfortable walking/approach shoes I ever owned. They dont do them anymore.
Ok, I did not use them as you would use an approach shoes, but these served me for commuting only. Since then I owned number of approach shoes (used for commuting) but the durability of them is usually very poor (might be the sticky rubber that worns quickly?).
Is there something on the market now that is a low cut walking shoe very comfortable, very durable but still with an approach shoes look?

PS - Yes I am thinking about the current Jack Wolfskin shoes which are being made in place of old trusty star tracks, but I dont like the design too much.
