Cheap accomodation in hardangerfjord area - Norway

Blimey - didn't realise how expensive it is over there. Anyone any recommendations for the hardangerfjord or voss area? Self catering or B&B maybe? Im googling like mad but not finding much that isn't breaking the bank, or basically like staying in a shed.
