Do any of you buy gear online?

There is a lot of competition, some better looking than others, can you recommend any good online distributors?

Amazon.com, rei.com come to mind.

Aside from fit specific things, I buy most things online via a remailer.

I tend to look for specific things and then use google shopping to find the cheapest retailer for the specific item.

I recently made a fairly big purchase from MEC (Canada) and made big savings from the site but had to pay in customs. I worked it out that joe browns would of been £30 cheaper.

My favourites are needle sports, outside, V 12, Joe browns, and the climbers shop. All are real shops with staff who know what they are talking about, and all have reasonable websites with great deals.
