Is it ok to back out of training rides to wait for better weather?
It was breezy and a little damp at times, yet we still had 6 juniors (15-17yo including 2 girls) plus one OAP out on our 80mile plus clubrun up here in Lancashire today. Just the one cafe stop and averaged over 15mph.

In my club it's called a '5 and 9' - Rule 5 and Rule 9 of the Velominati.
The same ride in balmy sunshine is so much easier, it makes it all worthwhile and you can feel good about enjoying it because you did it before when the weather was utterly grim.
