Due to cancellations, two places are now available on the May Kalymnos Workshop hosted by Adrian Berry and Gaz Parry.

The original climbing coaching holiday, and in terms of positive feedback and results, undoubtedly the best, the quickest and most cost-effective way of improving your climbing. Run by professional climbers, this is a course unlike any of its subsequent imitators. The emphasis is on progress through hard work and you can expect to be pushed hard!

The setting for this week is the fabulous Greek island of Kalymnos. With ten workshops over five days, this coaching holiday covers all the finer points of the sport climbing game, but is relevant to all climbers. Price includes five days coaching and accommodation.

The Workshop runs from May 3rd to May 10th and costs £550 of which £100 is required as deposit.

Who's it for?

This trip is suitable for anyone who sport climbs and wants to improve. We suggest you are leading at a minimum of French grade 5 to get the most out the venues, but we have had climbers go from grade 4 to 6c in a week, so we do not set out grade restrictions.

Couples, climbing partnerships and individuals are all very welcome. The most important thing is that you are motivated to improve, like to be pushed, and are willing to push yourself. This week does not cover the basic safety skills of sport climbing, and you will need to be able to sport climb safely and independently to take part.

How it works

Each day we get an early start and walk up to one of the nearby climbing venues. There are two workshops each day, and between the workshops you will have plenty of opportunity to climb and put into immediate practice what we have covered, during this time the coaches will be on hand to give 1:1 coaching where helpful. On a typical day we will start climbing around 7.30 and will be finished for the day around 2 or 3pm. There is one rest day in the middle of the week when there is no coaching. If you are around on the final Saturday, you will have most of the day to climb - though there is no coaching on this day.

The September Workshop is fully booked.
