As I have little experience of the delights of clipping bolts in the UK I thought I'd ask....

I want to shoot a bit of video of someone sport climbing in Yorkshire or the Peak; probable grade around 5 and 6.

Anywhere that has decent climbing and is not an ugly hole in the ground? And ideally relatively open so I can use a camera from a distance.

My thanks in anticipation.

In reply to Andy Say:

Probably Robin Proctor's Scar is your best bet. A few 5s and plenty of 6s.

Thanks, Bob.

Robin Proctor's (what I used to know as Norber!) better than Giggleswick or Castlebergh in the area?

In reply to Andy Say:

Yes. Giggleswick is in the trees so you won't get your open shots. Castlebergh is a hole. Robin Proctor's (Norber) has great views out across the Craven fault, quite untypical for a limestone crag.

Ta!

As above, look in Yorks not the Peak. Peak mid-grade sport is worthless, I've heard it's a little better further north.

Agree - Robin Proctor's Scar. You'll get stunning shots.
