I'm off to the FMC hut at Stair near Keswick this weekend and was after advice on routes. Was looking for some long trad routes from Diff to HS. I would normally research climbs and look into areas but been so busy at work so any help would be great. Thanks
If the weather is looking good, you could do worse than head up to Gable: Napes Needle, Tophet Wall, and the classic VD behind the Needle who's name escapes me.
If the weather is poor you will probably find yourself at Shepherds for Little Chamonix
Corvus? I've not done it but it is supposed to be very popular.
+1 for Tophet Wall, and the classic (but very poished even when I did it 20 years ago) ridge behind The Needle is the imaginatively named Needle Ridge.
Troutdale (S) Pinnacle on Black Crag is excellent too.
