Thinking of doing the High level route walking from Chamonix to Zermat via the high cols and huts any advice welcome up to date guide book?

I'm planning to the 'classic route' with a mate this summer. I've just bought 'The Haute Route Chamonix - Zermatt' by Peter Cliff which, from what I gather, seems to be the guide to use. Info. here:
