Just wanted to put the word out there and share the love for one of Yorkshire's finest. Eavestone is in superb nick at the moment. Eavestone Wall and Crazy Paver were clean on arrival today (Eavestone Wall remarkably so). I'd be interested to know if these have been cleaned this season or whether they've just stayed that way.

Spinnaker also very clean. The Fort didn't look bad either. Eavestone Crack and Genesis looked like they might need just a cursory dust down. That's a lot of stars there, get to 'em while they're in!

Everything is in great nick. Let's hope tomorrow is light drizzle at most. Was at Ilkley today and hoping for something tomorrow and Earl on Monday.

Glad you enjoyed them Will. I knew the crag would get popular one day - its only taken about 25 years. A team of us gave the whole buttress a thorough clean-up a couple of years ago but it would be worth giving Genesis another quick brush. At least then you'll get a sneaky look at the gear placements and may even spot the secret hold! The finishing jugs get overgrown each year but the mulch and moss pulls off easily.
