Hello, Borrowed a Robens Mythos Duo tent a couple of years ago. At about 2kg, a porch and door opening on each side, it was ideal 2 person backpacking tent plus light enough to take on flight baggage with full trad climbing gear.


Unfortunately you cant get these tents any more - anyone know of a similarly specced tent - i.e ~ 2kg, porch and door on each side.

Looked at some MSR tents but seem not some people dont rate for uk weather (flysheet doesnt come down for enough?). Also new Mountain Hardware VUE 2.3 - but thats about 3kg.

Owned. Impossible to pitch without slack flysheet which subsequently flaps in the wind. Sold.

Exped Mira 2, I have the 1 man version and it's pretty good.

MSR tents are generally made for the American market where ventilation seems to be prioritized. The Hubba HP range are made for the European market and will be better suited to UK weather.
I know plenty of people who use "American-style" tents in the UK with no problem.

Exped Mira does look pretty good but seems hard to get hold of. MSR Hubba Hubba HP may fit the bill.
