Via Ferrata/Climbing in the Vosges

All,

Looking at spending a week in the Vosges this summer with the family.

Some googling has indicated there's a Via Ferrata outside Bussang, has anyone done this? Is it suitable for children? Does anyone know of any other VF thereabouts

Does anyone have any recommendations for anywhere to stay nearby?

No idea about via ferrata but there's plenty of good climbing in the Vosges. My favourite crag when I lived in Nancy was Martinswand which is a mountain granite crag (see http://www.ukclimbing.com/articles/page.php?id=216) but there are plenty of sandstone crags as well
