I'm after advice or guidebooks for the Southern Ecrins. Camped near Ancelle last year and did a couple of days with a guide but looking to go closer to Lac De Serre Poncon. Somewhere between Gap and Embrun.

Sport climbing with sub teenager children.

Grimper dans le Haut-val Durance seems the book, to get but I can't find it in the UK. Anyone stock it?

Thanks Martin, just seeing if I can take a work colleague on a 150 mile detour to collect I suspect he'll say no.

Stephen, I think the problem is I'm not sure which crags. Looking on the crag map I suspect the following 3 are in the area we're likely to camp.

Roche Rousse

and La Rochette
