Evening

I'm looking for a way of hanging my bike on the wall vertically but it needs to go behind a door. It seems that vertical bike mounts all are designed so the bike is saddle out, does anyone know of anything where I can hang my bike vertically with wheels parallel to the wall? Or is that possible on most of them but the pictures just don't show it?

Put a big (plastic coated!) hook in the ceiling or the wall and hang the bike by a wheel from that.

a friend has placed a pair of padded hooks from his ceiling and simply hangs his bike upside down by the wheels (works quite well for road bikes). possibly thinking about something similar for in my garage but flat against the ceiling above the door

Simple but effective...nice! I was musing on something like that but got distracted by all the fancy looking bike storage mounts

Got some nice big plastic coated hooks free in a goody bag on a sportive once, screwed them into the ceiling joists of the shed, job done.
