In reply to trekclimb:

Some lines yes but many of the lines are affected by run off and then seepage for a few days following prolonged rain.

The bolted routes on the left hand wall dry pretty quickly yes, I don't know about the others though. Just watch out for falling rocks from the loose wall of death to the right of you.

In reply to Lord_ash2000:

I think those routes may be out of bounds at the moment - bird ban, until 30th June. Apparently there is a rope that demarcates the climbable lines - basically routes to the right of the crag as you approach it using the normal ridge line (with the sharp notch at the end furthest from the crag).

In reply to Route Adjuster:

Yes the BramCrag Wall area is bird banned until the end of June - due to a Peregrine in the back of the bay that is a very long way back from the normal climbing routes and has apparently happily nested there for several years whilst people developed and climbed on the Bramcrag Wall area.

The other areas are now mostly bolted and can dry very quickly - we went there after torrential storms that left Reecastle unclimable, and almost everything was dry.
