I'm off to Lake Como for a family holiday in late July and plan to grab a few half days cragging (single pitch only) during the week. I've got the guidebook, but just wondered if anybody who knows the area has any recommendations of don't miss crags or routes? Climbing up to 7a+/7b, but happy on anything below that.

Thanks in advance.

I stayed at Menaggio a few years ago and there is a good sport crag about ten mins walk away. As you approach the road tunnel bear right to the lakeside (on the path). You don't need a guide as they have a topo board at the site. There are tables, chairs and water as well. Nice for the family

Don't think about camping, you will get moved on very quickly.

Thanks for the tip. As it happens we're staying near Menaggio and that crag was going to be my first port of call. Good to know it's family friendly....any other tips?

Cheers
