I have a pair of la sportiva nepals (yellow) and im wondering if there is a way of restoring the yellow colour back as its gone very dark. I have tried cleaning them with a cloth and water which did absolutely nothing.

Don't think so. The darkening is a sign of proper waxing/proofing, and a life well-lived, of which you should be proud (unless they've gone dark for some other reason).

Ye I do think its waterproofing thats done it. Ahwell, I suppose I would rather have dry warm feet then wet but look nice.
