"Join us for a Mid Summer Ski and Board at Glencoe on Saturday 21st June to mark the Summer Solstice
As you probably know, Meall a' Bhuiridh was snowed under last winter, so why not come along and join us in celebrating the Summer Solstice on Saturday 21st June by getting some final turns in for the 2014 season and marking the start of the count down to winter 2015.
Meet at the Base Cafe from 9am prior to heading up the mountain.
The Cliffhanger Chairlift will run to take skiers and boarders to the foot of the Main Basin between 10 and 10.30am to reduce the leg work required to reach the top of the mountain. Normal Chairlift prices apply, £10 per adult and season tickets are valid.
In terms of snow the Main Basin has the longest run and vertical, virtually the full length of the Main Basin is still complete, so well worth the hike from the top of the Cliffhanger. Around 2/3rds of the vertical of the Spring Run can be done with a run out towards the top of the Cliffhanger, from where the Canyon provides a final descent part way down the mid mountain. There is still snow on the Flypaper for those looking to post a final steep line of the 2014 season.
See you in the Glencoe cafe on Saturday morning."
