I've got the Alpine Attack, and I love it, pretty much my perfect pack. But I do like some hip pockets, preferably detachable: they are where I store my snacks, compass, hat and gloves etc, things I want on the move without getting the pack off and on.
I had gear envy when I saw someone with a fairly new Lowe Alpine Mountain Attack that seemed to include quite nifty hip pockets, and, I think, smaller shoulder strap pockets.
But even LA's official site doesn't seem to show them, either on the pack or as optional accessories. Any one have them, or know where I can source them?
(They were definitely official ones I saw, not something jury-rigged by the owner.)
