Does anybody have/know where to find a GPX track for the Eiger west face? Would it be mad to try to climb it in trail running shoes (with Kahtoola running crampons) in July?

I went up to 2800m in Terrocs with no crampons a couple of years back - it's just rubble up to there but came back a couple of days later with boots and crampons. I was trying to do the line of the winter route however, so can't really advise on the normal descent route that's usually used to go up the West side in summer. My own experience of 'running' crampons on ground up to Scottish Grade II is that the descent is when the problems come to the fore.
There are a couple of good topos online somewhere too. Maybe summitpost?

Thanks! I had looked at the CampToCamp site on my iPad: it turns out that it doesn't show the gpx download then.
