/ Tent recommendations
Iím looking to buy a tent & wondered what people would recommend.
For 1 or 2 people so probably a 3 berth to allow a bit of space & relatively easy to pitch. Mostly UK & maybe some Alps use & although likely to be valley/campsite camping rather than in the high mountains Iíd like something relatively stable in view of the high winds we get these days! Defo wonít be used for backpacking so weight not an issue.
Two friends have Khyam tents & say theyíre great but Iíve not seen anything about them in the trade mags so donít know what to think.
Anyway would appreciate any suggestions/recommendations please.
Sportpursuit has Jack Wolfskin Eclipse III for 75 quid which is quite good deal and it seems to be a bombproof tent (although very heavy!).
Hey Chris - Checkout the Zhota Mountain tent. Reduced to £350 now!
Fully Geodesic - perfect for two people to live in. Me and my Fiancee spent two weeks in Switzerland traveling about, carrying the tent and using valley campsites. Like your own little palace :-)
Thanks for suggestions.
Alpjay - sounds good but now £100 more than in March - https://www.facebook.com/Alpkit/posts/10151922736967551 . . . .
