I am moving house which will give me a commute of around 4 miles each way.
It will be primarily on road and I am happy to switch back to my off-road tyres for when i go actually mtn biking.
I am looking for suggestions of a slick/road tyre. I have a specialized rockhopper with 26" wheels.
Oh and i want it to be good in the wet-we are talking about the top of Scotland.

Thanks in advance.

I use these on my touring bike, they perform well in mixed road conditions. Durable too!

Continental sport contacts are good, and roll very well. Not punctured yet either.....

Another vote for the schwalbe tour marathon tyres. I have also recently stuck a set on my specialized rockhopper, also 26" wheels. Have been great in a variety of conditions, and have noticeably improved my speed and time on my commute to work.
