Just wondered if anybody had any info on recent ascents of the Gouter route and conditions?

Probably the normal motorway up it. It's been stable for a few days so it will be fine until it snows again.

Went up it on Saturday (23rd), was super windy and very cold (-15degC on top). Only about 30-40 or so people up there on that day but on the way down there were over a hundred on the way up to Tete Rouse/Gouter huts.

Snow was in excellent condition as its stayed very cold. a decent track all the way up. Weather closing in again now though.

Went up yesterday but massive storm has come in so all will change.. check with the OHM when you get here for latest news

Thanks for all the comments. Just wanted to get a general feel for how much it has been getting done as not much in OHM logbook.

Went up on Sunday, weather was perfect. Still in Cham now and it's very wet.
