I just found an email I sent to my wife 21 August saying that as the weather looked to be crap this week in West Scotland, I was changing my walking plans. I had hoped to book off Wednesday and do Aonach Mor and Beag today (currently at work) but the medium term forecast prediced a low pressure system moving in Monday with rain and wind.
So I went on a more modest walk Saturday instead and ddidn't book the Wednesday off.
Now look at the weather!!
