Does anyone know of any good spots to Wild Camp around Skipton area?

Your going to struggle, the land is mainly either good agricultural land or managed shooting land. I would suggest if your very very discreet and camp late an leave early, you may be successful, but remember that you have no legal rights to do this and can be asked to leave immediately, maybe even some legal action for trespass, though how real that threat is I`m not sure.
If you want to wild camp head for the Lakes where it is tolerated, or if in the Dales use a campsite or ask a farmers permission, you may be surprised most farmers in my experience are pretty cool dudes.

How close to Skipton? What are you using for shelter? How many nights?

We live a couple of miles out of Skipton and I can think of quite a lot of places that a discrete tarp wouldn't be noticed for an overnight stay.
