Camino del Rey

I'm off to Chorro in November. I've seen the most recent forum regarding the Camino Del Rey but was wondering if anyone has been there more recently and could advise on the current access to the walkway? Thanks Jack

Was there until the 12 September. It is still closed with gates and fences at both ends. There are security guards (With dog, cigarettes and beer!) at both ends. They even challenged a tourist who stepped over the lower end fence to take a photo of the green bridge (A von Ryans Express fan!) Enjoy your trip.

Just send it. Those guards have no legal power. Do it at night.

The last time I did it we walked past the guard off the path, went on it and came off at about 9pm. We then gave the guard a lift home to his gaff in Alora.
