hi, I have a karrimor alpinist 45 rucksack and clip on the lid has broke, its the blue/grey one with the single buckle that's quite chunky.

it has loads of life still left in it and don't really want to be getting a new one. anyone know where I can either get a new part or someone who may repair it with new.

any advice is greatly appreciated

cheers

If you hunt around you can find "split"/"quick attach" replacement buckles that mean no sewing is needed to replace them even when they're on a fixed loop of tape.

Lancashire Sports Repairs is the answer. They have repaired my old Alpiniste pack several times now including that buckle you have mentioned in your post. Some of the people who work there used to work for Karrimor when their kit was made in Accrington UK.

They repair all types of outdoor kit too.

You're welcome.

Another suggestion would have been the guys at Lowe Alpine in Derbyshire. I reckon they'd be happy to fix up anything within reason.

1. Buy speedy stitcher
2. Fix pack
