I'm looking for recommendations for a nice, good value campsite that has electric hook-up for our campervan. Ideally with a real ale pub close by. We won't be climbing as we have a 9 month old baby. Thanks in advance.

I asked this in the summer and went for Hawkshead Hall which was great. Whilst I didn't sample them I believe a couple of pubs 1/2 mile away meet your needs!!

My thread closed before I could thank people, so I'll cheekily use your thread for that!

This is a decent site in the village of Braithwaite, 3 miles from Keswick. Has 2 pubs 5 minutes from the site.

Threlkeld hall is good for pubs in the village but there is no wash up facility.

We also use Waterfoot Park at Pooley Bridge for our van.

I second that and the pub food is good.
