Hello all

I am after suggestions.

I'm a not much of a sport monkey so not that good with clip-up destinations but need ideas for sport climbing venues for Mid January and March.

Its for a group of beginners, so need a range of lower grades, easily accessible for few days/ week holiday. suggestions of accommodation and local airport are welcome too.

My idea so far was Costa Blanca...

Thanks

Rob

Costa Blanca fits the bill perfectly. Plenty to go at in the lower grades, reliable weather, easy access via Alicante airport.

Calpe makes a good base. But plenty great places inland a bit too. The Orange House for example.

We're in Jalon at the moment and it's borderline too hot to climb

Do you only want sport destinations? How about exciting trad destinations which are only a few hours away on the plane?

We can help with those is you would like?

Only Sport Dave, I have plenty of Trad destinations for my clients but they are all beginners and have suggested that they just want some winter Sun rock and coaching.

Costa Blanca is sounding very good.

sperlonga. accessible through rome, cheap lodging in winter and most crags reachable on foot. several grade 4/5 crags as of course more difficult stuff.
