Just read Tyler Hamilton's book and being a bit of a scientist am interested in how the riders these days get their Haemacrit levels to max (if they no longer use EPO / blood bags etc). Wiggo et al all use Oxygen tents to sleep in - so the question is: do they have extra oxygen to help recovery or less oxygen to mimic altitude and so get their bodies to produce more red blood cells? Anyone know the regime/answer/
