Thinking about heading that way in my Easter hols(April). Where should I be heading and what should I be doing? Oh and is there an english guide book, or any guidebook for that matter?

Will have van so flexable on locations.

Cheers.

Search or post your question at the snowheads forum. It's been asked and answered a few times as there are a few there with some prior experience.

The book I use is :
Orrizonti Bianchi Valle d'Aoste Pellissier Martini 2004

It is in Italian, but has good maps so easy to extract the necessary information.

Also have a look at:

for some recommendations and links to English descriptions on the camptocamp site.

Have a look at the guide 'Polvere Rosa'

http://www.monterosa.com/other-pages/polvere-rosa-3.aspx

Basing oneself in the Gressoney Valley has worked well for me on a couple of occasions.

Get weavin'!
