New to the area so don't have much idea of how the recent deluge of rain has affected everything. Does anyone know what the conditions will be like at Heptonstall Quarry (specifically the red wall) or Ilkley (specifically the harder trad e.g. snap decision)

Damp in the cracks but probably still climbable on the faces. Ilkely is your better bet for drier rock (no trees) but with mega polish (although that also means less green so possibly an unlikely benefit)

Cheers, for anyone interested - Heptenstall was initially wet but as the afternoon sun came on it, dried remarkably fast.

Did the classic HVS and E1, HVS was totally dry while the E1 was soaking at the top. Then had a play on the E7, surprise promise? Or something like that, but top section pretty wet
