Bike Rack for a Honhda Civic with Glass Roof and Tail gate....

Looking for some recomendations....

Anyone know of a rack that will fit my Honda Civic Exec? It's got a Glass roof, and glass tailgate. No metail Frame to the tail gate at all.

Honda say there are no racks that fit it, and I need to fit roof bars, BUT this means buthering the rubber inlay, as no pre cut ports for the Roof bars to slot into.....

Anyone any experience of this?

I don't know the answer to this myself but I would suggest you try asking the Roof Box Company in Sedbergh. I've bought various combinations of roof racks from them for different cars and have always found their knowledge of what will fit and general customer service to be really excellent.

Got a bit of the same problem, Volvo coupe with a large sun roof and frameless rear door. Have you looked at Saris racks? They certainly look well engineered. I suspect the answer is probably going to the expense of a tow bar, might be a clipon version for your car though.
