Strap On

Finally got round to upgrading my Garmin speed & cadence sensors for the new strap on type. Obvious question is are people taking them with them when they leave the bike? Are they being nicked?

Depends where you leave it.
I dont take mine from the bike and often leave lights etc on it as well. However the only places it gets left is unattended the garage, secure underground parking.
They are worth a few quid so in theory would be worth nicking but doubt most people would recognise what they are.

Thanks for the input... I do leave the bike locked up for a few hours at a time in public areas. I guess its that what concerns me. I've got the original S&C sensor the one with the arm and magnets but want to get rid of it as it seems to spike horribly and needs regular attention.

Can you comment on how fiddly is it to reattach the new sensors and get them working?

I only use the cadence which is nice and easy. Only issue constantly adding and removing would be the bands getting knackered.
think the speed would be trickier though
