Hi, I need suggestions for good crags to visit in a day out from Blackpool with a beginner.
It would need to be relatively fast drying/ alright in March.
Trad or sport are both fine. If there is very easy sport it might be useful practise for an upcoming holiday but I doubt I'll find any.
So far I've looked mostly at Trowbarrow and Farleton but I don't know the area at all.

Thanks

Great! Didn't know there was so much easy limestone. Not sure how I missed that one.

I thought it looks like it might be a bit dark and wet at this time of year but only going off photos. I once tried to drag the same person up zapple in the wet so I'm going to try not to put them off climbing with me again. (however much I like the idea of trying central crack)
