Hi,

Me and my wife are visiting Peak District in may (for 1 week or 9 days) and I would like to know if someone has an accommodation (either B&B or a Cottage) to recommend. It should be close to Stanage (my wife is pregnant and I guess there is the highest density of easy routes).

The place does not necessarily needs to be close to climbing as we will hire a car but it should be in a walking distance to a restaurant, a pub and a place to buy some food.

We are travelling alone, no kids (not yet obviously) and no pets...

Thanks for help.
Cheers,
Michal.

In reply to mim: the castle inn at castleton is fantastic, I've stayed there many times
And also i would recommend woodbine cafe in Hope, great for and lovely rooms. The owner of woodbine is wonderful too

Swiss House in Castleton is excellent - we keep getting customers in the shop saying how nice it is.

The Scotsman's Pack in Hathersage does B&B (as well as being a pub/restaurant); I've had several good stays there:
