Afternoon,

can any one suggest good quality accommodation for a long weekend in the Fort William area please?

I am looking for somewhere reasonably comfortable offering any of the following B&B/Bunkhouse/ Hotel/Chalet accom to allow a few days walking in the Mamores.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Glen Nevis Youth Hostel is about as close to the Mamores as you can stay. It's fine, nothing fancy

I enjoyed my time at Achintee [farm house?]- they have a hotel/bunkhouse with a fantastic drying room. Right next to the Ben.

The Blackwater Hostel has always served me well, although I haven't been for a couple of years. They now have 'camping' pods as well as the two buildings and chalet.

Stayed here for a week in 2013 http://www.torlinnhe.com/

Great breakfasts, friendly, really comfortable, totally unfazed by disgustingly wet gear.

Lochy Holiday Park have some good quality chalets, just on the outskirts of Fort William. I have used them a couple of times.

The CIC hut is great to book out. Its 680m on the north face of the ben. Its powered by a small wind turbine and has hot water, showers etc. Check it out http://www.smc.org.uk/huts/cic
