Me and my friend are going to europe for several months climbing, mountainingering etc, obviously guide books cost a fourtune. can anyone reccomend some guide books that cover large regions of europe rock climbing?

When i say europe i mean france, spain, italy, austria, swits, maybe slovinia.

any input would be ace.

In reply to Somerville:

For long rock routes I'd get Parois de Legende by Stephanie Bodet and Arnaud Petit if you can read some French. It's for the whole world, but focus is on Europe.

There are a few "Rock climbing atlas" kind of guide books, but I've never used any of them.
