I`ve got a mate who's a tall guy and he wants to get a one man tent for himself. I would have plenty of recommendations for him if he wasn't such a tall guy!

Does anyone know of any specific one man tent models that mean he can straighten his legs out, or will he have to go for a two man? If so, any two man models you would recommend that aren't too big and means he can straighten his legs out sleeping diagonally?

Please be specific and speak from genuine hands-on experience if you can, thanks. I could do without reams of speculation - I can speculate on my own thanks!

It would help if you incuded this person actual height. I am 6'3" and I am tall but 7' is extremely tall.

On to your question I have a hilleberg Akto and it has an internal length of 220cm so pretty lon and other tents like the Anjan 2 are also reasonable weight for a one person tent but a litte bigger than an Akto. Hilleberg tents are expensive. So that may be a factor in the desicion making precess.
