Does anyone know if screw on gas canisters (Coleman type) are available in Arolla?

I don't know for sure (I was last there a year ago) but I'd be surprised if you weren't able to find screwtop gas cans in Arolla. There's a small shop at the campsite itself, an outdoor store in Arolla, and if all else fails you can certainly buy them down the valley in Evolene.

You can get camping gaz everywhere

Thanks. Silly question but assume once attached it cant then be taken off until the fuel is finished. Never used camping gaz.

You can "unclick" it to take it off the Gaz canister part used, you can't unscrew it from the standard gas connection whilst still attached to the Gaz. Works a treat.
