If you are heading for Europe via Le Shuttle be extra vigilant, because the road signs are hidden by the lorries. A friend of mine nearly missed her connection yesterday because she couldn't see the exit signs and overshot.

I wish they did then the idiots blindly following their infallible sat-nav wouldn't end up stuck down our lane! There's a "dead end road" sign at the top but their sat-nav insists that the muddy bridleway which is the continuation of the lane is actually a road.

As an aside, anyone know how outbound border controls (introduced in April ?) have affected travel ? Assume just as bad on the return journey.
