I'm heading out to corvara in September. ..is Cinque Torri doable as a day trip ?

Easily - from memory, it's not much more than half an hour's drive to the chairlift, and there are lots of shortish routes to choose from on the towers.

When we camped at Corvara, we had an easy first day nipping across there and climbing this route: Via Ignazio Dibona (IV+)

Easily, yes. It's a short drive - less that half an hour I'd say. Or you can get the Cortina bus and get off at the Cinque Torri car park and chairlift. It's a short walk to the crags. Even shorter if you take the chairlift!

It's 23km via the Falzerego Pass, doable as a half day if pushed for time.

If you get up early then its driveable to almost the foot of the climbs (limited parking)

La villa, then take the Valparola pass to the Falzarego. Descend to Cinque Torri.

Have a good trip!
