Bridge of Allan - Stirling

Hi All,

Does anyone know if it's possible to walk from the bridge of allan down the forth river into Stirling? Does a path go all the way?

We're walking from Dunblane to Birdge of Allan and would be nice to keep going to Stirling...

I am 90% sure that you can't, as you would have to negotiate the train line and the prison to follow the river. You could easily follow the roads to Stirling, there are pavements all the way, but I don't think you can follow the river.

It's worth keeping asking, I've never tried to walk it, someone might know better than me on it. I am going on the fact that I have never seen any paths there and I know of those two definite obstacles! Someone may have better information!
