Wee family holiday based at Saint Jorioz on Lake Annecy in 2 weeks.
Was aiming to take my kids on the the local crag at Duingt - but a notice on camptocamp says it has been closed due to a landslide.
Anyone have a recent update - is it still closed?
Ta!

No news but when I went there a couple of years ago it was like Stoney, re-engineered by Faberge. There's loads of better crags in the area.

Ha!
Yea, I know Andy - probably > 10 years since I last stopped at it. Just gonna be 5 mins from our house with a few young kids.
I'll soon see...
Ta anyhow!

Pretty certain it is still shut (cycled past there a few weeks back with my littl'uns...).
Rockfall from the top of one part of the slab I believe (with apparently unstable rock left hanging).

Thanks!

Was there last week. Just the right hand half of the crag was taped off but the left hand seemed open for climbing. I presume it's the little crag next to the bike track by the tunnel.
In reply to Marc4099:

that's the one - thanks Marc
